As a team we are always on the lookout for unique and challenging rides, and the Dust at Dusk 2024 delivered an experience we won’t soon forget. Set in the charming town of Oregon, Illinois, this event offered everything we love about cycling. Beautiful routes, a vibrant atmosphere, and riding under the night sky.

The ride kicked off at Conover Square Mall, with options to tackle 20, 40, or 60 miles of mixed terrain, including both gravel and paved roads. Unfortunately, two of our riders, Krystian and Grzegorz, faced an early setback with a flat tire just 5 miles into the route. Despite this, they powered through and continued the ride alone.

Meanwhile, the rest of our group: Mateusz O., Mateusz K, Grzegorz, Angela, and “Sztanga” formed the front group, leading the charge through the night.

While the journey wasn’t without its obstacles, it was an incredible experience. We ended the ride with “after party” where stories of the night were shared.
This ride reminded us why we love cycling as a club—the shared experiences, the overcoming of challenges, and the bond that grows stronger with each mile we ride together. We can’t wait for the next adventure.
